As minister of music since June 2019, Rozanna directs the choral program and supervises the church-wide music ministry, with major responsibilities for worship. An accomplished organist and soloist as well as conductor, she brings varied experience leading music ministries at Protestant churches in North Carolina and Texas. Her passions include excellence in choral conducting and vibrant congregational singing.
Following a call to church music ministry as a teen, she earned sacred music degrees from East Carolina University and Southern Methodist University, where she received the Roger Deschner Prize in Sacred Music, among other honors.
Born in Louisville, Ky., Rozanna grew up in Greensboro, N.C., in a Baptist church where her parents served in music ministry. While at ECU, she met her husband, Joshua. They have three children, Samuel, Emma Frances, and Josephine. Rozanna enjoys gardening, being outside, and hosting dinner parties for friends.
