Sharing our resources at Knollwood

As disciples of Christ at Knollwood, we commit ourselves to generous giving, believing that returning a portion of the resources we have been given expresses our gratitude to God and helps us grow closer to Christ.

In turn, our generosity feeds the ongoing financial support of the mission and ministries of Knollwood Baptist Church.
A helpful spiritual practice to follow is proportionate giving. Some of us follow the practice of tithing or giving a tenth of our income. Those unable to tithe often choose a different proportion; either way, the important thing is to commit to regular giving.

Planned giving

Over the years, Knollwood members have made provisions to support God’s work after their passing by making a legacy gift to Knollwood.

Gifts can be made to support program ministries, missions, leadership development, or capital improvements. Or you might wish to specify your gift as undesignated, to meet the most pressing needs in furthering Knollwood’s mission.

To plan a legacy gift, you might want to:

  • Designate Knollwood in your will.
  • Name the church as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account.
  • Donate stock or real estate.
  • Establish a trust.
