This group of talented church and community members gathers to sew, knit, crochet, quilt, and craft. They provide handmade items for infants, children and adults who may need a bit of warmth and comfort in our local and extended communities, as well as overseas.
The Sew & So’s Ministry Team of Knollwood is its second decade working with heads, hands, and hearts to provide handmade items that provide a bit of warmth and comfort to those going through a rough patch. This past year the team produced and shared hand-knitted hats, prayer shawls, lap quilts, neck pillows, adult bibs, dignity bags, and walker and wheelchair totes. For Newborns in Need the team made blankets, bibs, and burp cloths. We also made tiny teddy bears for this vital organization.
The Sew & So’s continue to make the small KBC logo doves that are given to little ones on the Sunday their parents bring them before the church to be honored and welcomed.
This team is made up of cheerful, welcoming, very creative folks who enjoy working together.
