This month’s topic is “Walking the Talk: The Work of Educational Equity Continues.” Join us for a community conversation responding to Dr. Bettina Love’s April 16 talk at Union Baptist Church. As we explore ways to apply Dr. Love’s recommendations in our own school system, what action steps can we take now?
Discussion participants will include Tricia McManus, superintendent of WS/FCS Schools; Dr. Dawn Hicks Tafari, associate professor of education at Winston-Salem State University; and Dr. Dani Parker Moore, assistant professor of multicultural education at Wake Forest University.
