March 20: Jewish Perspectives on Repentance
Join us for an evening of learning with Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker of Temple Emanuel in Winston-Salem. We’ll explore the basics of how Jewish texts work, and then discover Jewish perspectives on repentance and forgiveness from several sources, including the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and the Talmud. We’ll also learn from later rabbis like Maimonides, who wrote about five laws of repentance.
Please join us for a fellowship meal from 5:15 to 6 PM.
From 6 to 7 PM on most Wednesdays, following announcements and prayer, we engage various topics of faith with speakers, panels, and group discussion. Please see our youth and children’s ministry pages for information about concurrent programming for these ages.
