A new once-a-month series of speakers and conversations, focusing on inequities in education.


Held the first Tuesday of the month w
ith a brown bag lunch in the the Dining Room, Bldg. B.
We’ll provide tea, lemonade and cookies. The series is open to anyone in our community.

Panel discussion featuring members
of the
Action4Equity group on:

  • Various views of equity in WS/FC Schools
  • Case studies and lessons from other districts successfully implementing models of equity within their schools
  • Action4Equity’s plan to make the WS/FCS a
    Grade A equitable school district.

 

Knollwood Baptist Church 
offers this new monthly series of conversations running October-May
on the first Tuesday, noon-1 pm.

These gatherings will 
explore Faith in the City, 
inviting participants to deepen community conversations about complex issues and find ways to work together to address injustices that might seem overwhelming
to us as individuals.

The lunch series is free and open to the public. Bring a bagged lunch.
We will provide beverages and desserts.
